to Administrator of Media Relations (MLB)....OZZIE NEWSOME has
been promoted to Dir of Football Operations for the Baltimore
franchise (WASHINGTON POST, 3/12)....DON CORSINI, formerly
Original Programming and Development VP at Liberty Sports, joins
KCAL as VP/Sports Operations and Production (BROADCASTING &
CABLE, 3/12).... L.A. Ice Dogs GM/Coach JOHN VAN BOXMEER has
signed a new three year deal with the team (Ice Dogs)....Long-
time MLB Rangers Exec CHARLIE WANGNER is expected to be named
interim Chair of the Arlington, TX, Convention & Visitors Bureau
(FT. WORTH STAR TELEGRAM, 3/12)...CHRISTOPHER SINCLAIR has been
named CEO & Chair of the newly created Pepsi-Cola Co., while
STEVEN REINEMUND will hold a similar post for Frito-Lay (WALL
STREET JOURNAL, 3/12)....BENITO PEREZ-BARBADILLO and ANN CHRISTIN
WALDMANN have joined the ATP Tour's European staff as
Communications Managers (ATP Tour).
