TAGLIABUE TO GIVE SEAHAWKS STORY TO NFL OWNERS TODAY

     NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue will present a report on
Seahawks Owner Ken Behring's intention to relocate his team to
L.A. at today's NFL owners meeting in Palm Beach, FL.  Behring's
group, led by attorney Ron Olsen, will also make its presentation
tonight, with the group representing King County speaking on
Wednesday (Clare Farnsworth, SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER, 3/11).
Behring could "sidestep" NFL owners' opposition to his move and
the lawsuits pending against him by selling the team -- and "it
appears progress is being made in that direction" after the
"conciliatory nature" of meetings between Behring and local
officials last week, and reports of Behring's interest in buying
a portion of the A's from former Seahawks minority owner Ken
Hoffman (SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER, 3/9).
