NAPBL'S CONGRESSIONAL DAY '96: BETTER GET ALL-PORK HOT DOGS

     About 75 owners and execs from the NAPBL -- which represents
15 of baseball's minor leagues -- will be in DC on Tuesday for
"Congressional Day, 1996," a series of meetings with Senators and
Congressman to discuss the future of minor league baseball.  The
NAPBL will press the importance of baseball's antitrust exemption
and franchise stability.  NAPBL VPs Stan Brand and Pat O'Conner
will brief the group before execs begin two days of individual
meetings with local representatives (NAPBL).
