     Marc Ganis, President of SportsCorp. in Chicago, has offered
his services on a "success-fee basis" as a intermediary in the
dispute between the Bears and Chicago (CHICAGO TRIBUNE,
2/25)....Jerry Colangelo said the Suns won't leave America West
Arena to eventually play at the rectractable-roof Bank One
Ballpark.  Colangelo:  "It might happen sometime in a playoff
situation when AWA is not available because another event is
booked, but it's highly improbable."  Colangelo is planning an
all-day rooftop party when the first roof truss on the new dome
will be raised in May (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 2/26)....A poll of 400
voters by the DETROIT NEWS found that confusion over competing
Tiger stadium proposals on next month's ballot have put both
questions in danger of failing  (DETROIT NEWS, 2/26)....A dome
for Baltimore's new football stadium would help bring the Final
Four back to the Northeast.  After this year's event in East
Rutherford, NJ, the Final Four is not scheduled back to the area.
Bill Hancock, Dir of the NCAA Final Four:  "If you were
speculating right now, there's no chance, zip, that the Final
Four will be coming back to the East Coast any time soon"
(Baltimore SUN, 2/24)....Globe Sports Facility, the public
management and consulting firm, has reduced the City of West Palm
Beach's annual subsidy to the West Palm Auditorium by $531,878 in
its first year of private management operations (Globe Facility
Services).
