     CNN reported that Sears officially put its 50% stake in
Prodigy up for sale.  Sears Chair & CEO Arthur Martinez:  "We are
returning to our roots as a retail business"    ("Moneyline,"
2/21).  One reason for the sale is the Web, which is taking
customers away from the online services (USA TODAY, 2/22)....Anne
Sweeney has resigned as Chair & CEO of Fox's fX Network to become
President of The Disney Channel.  Sweeney's authority over fX
"changed" since word of a News Corp. deal with Liberty Sports to
create a sports venture to rival ESPN (L.A. TIMES, 2/22)....A
U.S. District Court in Houston has assessed fines against some
Houston area bars for showing blacked-out Oilers games.  Under
the decision, the NFL will be paid $50,000 from three entities
(NFL)....ESPN will enter Thailand this month through a deal with
United Television in Bangkok (AD AGE ONLINE, 2/22).
