NO LONGER HERMAN'S HERMITS: NIKE, RAWLINGS TO SUPPLY AGAIN

     Herman's Sporting Goods has convinced suppliers Nike and
Rawlings Sporting Goods to resume shipping products as it works
on a turnaround, according to the N.Y. POST.  Nike resumed
shipments Friday, according to a spokesperson who declined to
comment on terms.  Rawlings is expected to resume shipping next
month with a tighter credit limit.  Some competitors are upset at
the deal arranged last month by a group of Herman's vendors,
including Reebok, Russell, Rollerblade and Prince, in which they
agreed to a one-year moratorium on payments in exchange for a
lien on Herman's inventory.  Jack Cook, Chair of The Sports
