BALDWIN SAYS SO-LONG TO ROLLER HOCKEY, INDOOR SOCCER

     Penguins Owner Howard Baldwin said neither the CISL Stingers
nor RHI Phantoms will likely field teams at the Civic Center in
Pittsburgh this season.  Baldwin praised the teams' management,
but added, "Between them, we lost close to $2 million."  Baldwin
said there may be a future for indoor soccer in Pittsburgh, but
he told the TRIBUNE-REVIEW that he "wasn't thrilled" with RHI.
He said he would get involved with roller hockey again "as the
(NHL) gets more in line with that sport."  Baldwin said a
Pittsburgh roller hockey club probably wouldn't resurface until
"the summer of 1997 at the earliest" (Pittsburgh TRIBUNE-REVIEW,
2/22).
