LEAGUE NOTES: IRL MAKES ITS INAUGURAL RUN TOMORROW

     The IRL took out an eight-page advertising insert in USA
TODAY promoting Saturday's Indy 200 at Walt Disney World and the
rest of the new Indy car series (USA TODAY, 1/26). AUTOWEEK
previews the Indy 200, noting that it is Disney's "entrance into
the world of motorsports."  Michael Waggoner, Manager of Walt
Disney World Motorsports, who claims neutrality in the IRL-
IndyCar war, said they are considering attracting a NASCAR event
(AUTOWEEK, 1/29 issue).
