     Fila USA will break a TV ad on February 1 from FCB/Leber
Katz Partners, New York, in support of its new baseball turf
training shoe, the Determination.  The spot features Eddie Murray
and will run on ESPN, Fox and MTV (AD AGE ONLINE, 1/22)....ADWEEK
has selected the NBA Apparel spot "Cowboy" and Bud Light's "I
Love You, Man/Truck" as two of the "Best of December" spots
(ADWEEK, 1/15)....Peewee Football is enjoying "unprecedented
success" as the Pop Warner "Super Bowl" was broadcast on NBC and
Nike has featured real peewee games in its latest TV ad campaign
(WASHINGTON POST, 1/21)....DelWilber + Associates has acquired
the assets of the organization formerly known as North American
Pro Ski Corporation.  Previously NAPS administered both the U.S.
Pro Ski Tour and the Women's Pro Ski Tour.  The two organizations
will now become a single entity, with the name of the new
division still under consideration (DWA)....Friday's "Outside the
Lines 5th Anniversary Show" on ESPN featured a segment on the
money to be found nationally and internationally in the sports
marketing and licensing industry.  Frank Deford noted that $13.5B
has been spent on licensing for the four major pro team sports
and the NCAA (ESPN, 1/21).
