     A study paid for by the Northwest Indiana Chicagoland
Entertainment Inc., the group attempting to lure the Bears to
Gary, "pegs the cost of cleaning up contaminated soil and water
and restoring damaged wetlands" area on the site at no more than
$11.5M (CRAINS CHICAGO BUSINESS, 12/11 issue).... Arkansas AD
Frank Broyles has been contacted by Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones
regarding a position as Jones' personal representative on his
stadium project and theme park (DALLAS MORNING NEWS,
12/9)....More than 90% of the $100M debt assumed to build the
Texas Motor Speedway will be paid by track developer Bruton Smith
(FT. WORTH STAR TELEGRAM, 12/9)....     The Lions "could decide
this month to terminate their relationship" with the Silverdome,
"and return to Motown" ("Fox NFL Sunday," 12/10).
