BLAZERS PRESIDENT MARSHALL GLICKMAN HANDS IN RESIGNATION

Trail Blazers/Oregon Arena Corp. President Marshall Glickman
resigned Friday saying he wants to explore other sports and
entertainment business opportunities outside of his native
Portland, according to the Portland OREGONIAN. According to
Glickman, he told Blazers Vice Chair Bert Kolde he may be
interested in going elsewhere upon opening talks on the upcoming
expiration of his contract. It was then that Kolde and Blazers
Owner Paul Allen decided if Glickman wanted out, it made no sense
to wait until June. The Blazers will honor his contract until
that point (Manning & Francis, Portland OREGONIAN, 11/11).
