'TOONED UP AND READY: CARTOON NETWORK TO FIELD NASCAR TEAM

     Hanna-Barbera, Inc. and Diamond Ridge Motorsports will team
up in a multi-year agreement to use the Cartoon Network name as
title sponsor for a NASCAR team.  "Cartoon Network Wacky Racing"
will be the first NASCAR team to directly target kids and
families, and will feature drivers and cars emblazoned with
Hanna-Barbara cartoon characters and gags, along with the logo of
the network.  Steve Grisson will drive the Hanna-Barbara car, and
the team will be led by Dir of Race Operations Bill Ingle,
starting for the '96 Winston Cup Series.  Other aspects of the
sponsorship will include character signage on the car and team
uniforms, at-track character merchandise, venue-based, kid-themed
attractions and costume character appearances.  In addition,
NASCAR-related programming, production and promotions will be
aired by Hanna-Barbara's Turner Network partners (Hanna-Barbera).
