DEVIL RAYS WITH THE NEW DUDS ON -- TEAM TO UNVEIL UNIFORMS

     The expansion Devil Rays will introduce their uniforms
Thursday at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa.  Local media
personalities will model the club's home and away caps and
batting practice jerseys.  Home, road and alternate color jerseys
will also be on display.  Rays GM Chuck LaMar says the jerseys
are "on the cutting edge, but a traditional baseball uniform."
Fans will be able to purchase replica jerseys at the team's
FanFest Sunday, but the items will not be immediately available
in stores (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 10/31).
