"BURNIE," the Heat mascot, got hit with a $1M civil lawsuit Thursday by YVONNE GIL-REBOLLO of Puerto Rico. Burnie "allegedly hurt and embarrassed" her by dragging her onto the court during an exhibition game a year ago. The lawsuit is not only directed at Wes Lockard (aka "Burnie"), but the Heat and the FL Basketball Associates (MIAMI HERALD, 10/13)....This morning's W.S. JOURNAL sports page profiles Illinois football coach LOU TEPPER's efforts to make racial integration a part of his program by requiring his players to promise to get to know teammates of the other race and putting them in situations that promote such contact (W.S.
