CRENSHAW HOPES THIS RIDE IS SMOOTHER THAN THE RYDER CUP

     Ben Crenshaw has signed a six-year endorsement deal with
Buick Motor Division.  Under the deal, Crenshaw will continue to
wear a Buick golf hat or visor while playing in any PGA Tour
event, the Masters, U.S. Open, PGA Championships, British Open,
exhibitions and other golf matches world wide.  Buick also has
Wayne Levi, Chip Beck, Kenny Knox, and Steve Elkington with
similar deals.  Buick is the oldest corporate sponsor on the PGA
Tour and the only organization that is the title sponsor of more
than one tour event.  Buick is the official car of the PGA Tour
(Buick).
