NUTMEG MILLS SIGNS UP JOE GIBBS RACING AND BOBBY LABONTE

9.28.1995

     Nutmeg Mills announced yesterday they have signed a long
term licensing agreement with Joe Gibbs Racing and Bobby Labonte,
owner and driver of the Interstate Batteries' Winston Cup Series
car.  Both Gibbs and Labonte will personally promote the Lee
Sport and Nutmeg Mills product lines.  The deal allows Nutmeg
Mills certain exclusive rights in regard to a full range of
apparel featuring the likeness of Labonte, Gibbs or their car.
Last week, Nutmeg signed Jeff Gordon to a similar deal (Nutmeg
Mills).
