     Rockets Owner Leslie Alexander met with IHL Aeros Owner
Chuck Watson yesterday for a "get-acquainted session."  Watson,
whose acquisition of The Summit's management lease this week
makes him Alexander's landlord, hopes to form an alliance with
the Rockets that could "expedite renovation" of The Summit
(HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 9/22)....A referendum to incorporate parts of
North Dade County into a self-governing entity called Destiny
failed Tuesday.  Incorporation would have meant higher taxes and
more control over Wayne Huizenga's Joe Robbie Stadium (MIAMI
HERALD, 9/21)....In today's WALL STREET JOURNAL under the header
"Ultimatum '95:  Pay for the stadium or lose the team," Frederick
Klein examines the growing trend of sports teams threatening to
move if they don't get a new or renovated stadium (WALL STREET
JOURNAL, 9/22)....CNN's "Moneyline" examined stadium and arena
naming rights (CNN, 9/21)....MA House Speaker Charles Flaherty
set an October 20 deadline for final House action on the Megaplex
(BOSTON HERALD, 9/22).... Ohio State plans to charge $17,000 for
the best men's basketball seats in the new arena (Cleveland
PLAIN-DEALER, 9/21).
