OLYMPIC NOTES: MOBILECOM ANNOUNCES OLYMPIC CENTENNIAL PAGER

     MobileCom, the official paging service provider to the '96
Games, has introduced the MobileCom Olympic Centennial pager -- a
red, white and blue "Renegade" model imprinted with the Olympic
rings (MobileCom)....Stamford, CT-based Millsport has announced
they will manage and develop the Visa Olympic Reunion Center
(Millsport)....ACOG has announced all Olympic venues will be
smoke-free during the Games (ACOG)....The IOC Committee
overseeing preparations for the Atlanta Games returns to town
Wednesday to make an inspection.  ACOG spokesperson Bob Brennan:
"They just want to make sure we are where we are supposed to be"
(CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 9/17)....The Nagano Olympic Organizing
Committee announced a doping control laboratory will be set up
within the Nagano Prefectural Public Health Center from December
1, '97 to February 25, '98 (NAGANO OLYMPIC NEWS, 9/95 issue).
....San Francisco-based GGP will produce an hour syndicated
holiday special with athletes and celebrities competing in a
variety of sports to raise money for the U.S. Olympic Team
(BROADCASTING & CABLE, 9/18 issue)....NBC Sports President Dick
Ebersol and his Olympics production team last week met with the
Salt Lake City Olympic Organizing Committee Board (SALT LAKE
TRIBUNE, 9/15).
