MOLSON SAYS BEER AND HOCKEY A GOOD FIT

     At Molson Company's annual meeting yesterday in Toronto,
officials said the "poor performance of the U.S. division of
Diversey Corp. was a big contributor" to their first quarter
decline in profits from $32M to $20M. Diversey's U.S. division
supplies chemical cleaning supplies to hotels and restaurants.
Molson Cos. Chair Eric Molson told shareholders that "beer and
hockey" -- through ownership of the Canadiens -- are the "keys to
Molson's future" (Ian Jack, CP/MONTREAL GAZETTE, 9/14).
