BUCS OWNER GLAZER MAY PUT UP SOME BIG MONEY

     Bucs Owner Malcolm Glazer has told officials he might pledge
$8.75M annually for 30 years from revenues at a new stadium, "if
that will help it get built," according to the TAMPA TRIBUNE.  If
Glazer decides to formally propose the idea, it could
"substantially reduce public dollars needed for the project."
Combined with a state sales tax rebate and money from
Hillsborough County's bed tax, Glazer's pledge could reduce the
public share to roughly $5.5M annually for 30 years -- if the
estimated construction costs of $168M "is firm" (TAMPA TRIBUNE,
8/31).
