     At Wilson Sporting Goods, KIM IGNATIUS has been named the
new VP & of Global Golf effective immediately.  The position is
newly created.  As for JAN THOMPSON, the VP & GM of Wilson's U.S.
Golf Division -- who was recently named as one of AD AGE's
"Marketing 100" -- company sources would only say that Thompson
is still with Wilson, but that discussions were ongoing on her
new capacity and tenure at the company (THE DAILY)....PAULA SNOW
has joined USA Track & Field's staff as Manager of Promotions
(USATF).
