     Interbrew S.A. "has abruptly ended exclusive talks to sell
Labatt Communications Inc. to a group led by LCI executives" and
supported by ESPN and Stephen Bronfman (FINANCIAL POST,
6/27)....Microsoft "has launched a broad attack on the
investigation tactics of the U.S. Justice Department's anti-trust
division," by accusing it of subjecting the company to a
"campaign of harassment" and filing suit in federal court in New
York (FINANCIAL TIMES, 6/27)....NBC and Parallel Media Group have
announced the formation of NBC Super Sports, which will supply
sports programming to the NBC Super Channel in Europe (NBC)....
CBS Radio's exclusive coverage of the MLB All-Star Game is
expected to reach over 20 million listeners in 300 U.S. markets
and around the world.  Spanish-language coverage by CBS Americas
is expected to reach an additional 20 million in the U.S. and
Latin America (CBS Radio Sports)....The second edition of HBO's
"Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel" airs Sunday, July 30.  Segments
will examine the power and influence of agents; Len Dykstra's
reservations about the baseball strike; the physical pain of
playing in the NFL; and, the career of Howard Cosell (HBO
Sports).
