SWEEP REVENGE? SHAQ WANTS HAKEEM IN WWF-STYLE ONE-ON-ONE

A full-page ad in USA TODAY and the N.Y. TIMES has a two
sentence letter from Shaquille O'Neal to Hakeem Olajuwon: "Hakeem
-- The series may be a done deal, but it ain't over between you
and me. Sure, you're pretty good with your team behind you, but
I want you one on one. Shaq" (THE DAILY). It is "not clear"
whether O'Neal or one of his sponsors paid for it, or whether
Hakeem was involved at all (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS, 6/26).
THE WORLD ACCORDING TO SHAQ: In Orlando, Dennis
Tracey, O'Neal's personal assistant, said that plans for a
"Shaq World" located in Orlando's downtown area, Church
Street Station, is not a done deal. Tracy: "Shaq came up
with the idea of a theme restaurant and an area you could
buy Shaq merchandise. ... but we're just talking right now"
     (Gene Yasuda, ORLANDO SENTINEL, 6/24).
