MOTOROLA INTRODUCED TODAY AS NEWEST OLYMPIC GAMES SPONSOR

     Motorola Inc. will become a Partner-level sponsor of the '96
Games in Atlanta and a sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Team.  As part
of the deal, Motorola will supply ACOG and the USOC headquarters
and training facilities with a two-way radio network, cellular
telephones, pagers, computer modems, and other communication
equipment.  Motorola's agreement provides it with exclusive
marketing rights for wireless communications equipment and their
communications network will support security, transportation, and
event management operations (Motorola).  Motorola will join an
"elite group  of corporate backers who each have paid about $40
million to support the Games" (AP/ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 5/25).
