VISA ANNOUNCES SALUTE TO OLYMPIC ALUMNI

Visa announced yesterday plans for a "Visa Olympic Reunion Center" as a hospitality oasis for all Olympic Alumni at the '96 Games. The Center will include meeting areas, refreshment services, communications and broadcast facilities, and banquet rooms for special reunion functions. As a way to provide media access to Olympic alumni, Visa is finalizing a TV deal with the satellite NBC News Channel that includes live remote broadcasts from the Center; scheduling of 100-plus NBC broadcast affiliates daily on-site; interviews to uplinked satellites daily; as well as broadcast feeds from the Center to CNBC, the NBC Superchannel, NBC News, NBC Sports, the Spanish-language Canal de Noticias and international outlets (Visa).
