Published April 27, 1995
CBS's recent name change from "Eye on Sports" to "The CBS Sports Show" will include some changes to the show's format, the most significant of which will be new host Pat O'Brien. According to CBS Sports spokesperson Leslie Anne Wade, with O'Brien, the show will be "newsier," feature more "uniquely Pat O'Brien features" and carry more live events on a regular basis. The show will air on weekends, but has no permanent time slot (THE DAILY).
