A'S SALE STILL ON TRACK?

4.24.1995

     A's President & GM Sandy Alderson was interviewed during
last night's A's-Giants game on ESPN.  Alderson on the troubled
deal for the team:  "That's something that will be resolved over
the next couple of weeks.  It's not clear that the team will be
sold, but it's still very possible and I think that the Haas
family is working toward that end with Steve Schott and Ken
Hofmann, so I think it will be resolved within the next week"
(ESPN, 4/23).
