OUTBACK GETS NAMING RIGHTS TO ANOTHER COLLEGE BOWL GAME

Outback Steakhouse announced that it has become the official
title sponsor for the college football game in Tampa, formerly
known as the Hall of Fame Bowl. Financial terms of the
sponsorship deal were not disclosed. The new Outback Bowl will
feature the third place teams from the SEC and Big Ten
conferences. Outback CEO Chris Sullivan: "We've gone nationwide
and this will give us that national exposure." In December, the
bowl game signed a 6-year deal with ESPN for the national
broadcast on New Year's Day. Outback has been the title sponsor
of the Outback Steakhouse Gator Bowl for the past three years
(Roger Mills, ST. PETE TIMES, 4/13). This is the Hall of Fame
Bowl's first title sponsor (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 4/13). Outback will
renew its one-year option with the Gator Bowl, but did express an
interest in continuting in an "associate capacity" (Outback).
