BILL WALSH joining the team in a non-coaching capacity.  The
future of GM & coach TOM FLORES is still unclear (SEATTLE POST-
INTELLIGENCER, 12/22)....BRENT HAINES, formerly Corporate Sales
Manager for the Padres, has joined Network International as Sales
Manager for the Western Region (Network Int'l)....Winners of the
"Rudy" award for Best Sports TV Execs:  1)  NBC's DICK EBERSOL.
2)  ABC's DENNIS SWANSON.  3)  Fox's DAVID HILL.  4)  ESPN's
STEVE BORNSTEIN.  5)  CBS' DAVID KENIN & LEN DELUCA.  6)
Turner's KEVIN O'MALLEY (Rudy Martzke, USA TODAY,
12/22)....Orioles and ESPN baseball announcer JON MILLER re-
signed with the Orioles radio network.  Miller was being courted
by several other clubs (Baltimore SUN, 12/22).
