In Boston, Will McDonough writes that there will be no change in ownership of the 49ers with the death of Edward DeBartolo, Sr. The team is owned by the DeBartolo Corporation. Team President Carmen Policy: "Mr. DeBartolo had planned for this and it is all covered in his estate.
