BILL CLARK, Dir of the Commonwealth Invitational indoor
track & field meet in Boston, filed a grievance against USA Track
& Field Exec Dir OLLAN CASSELL over Commonwealth's exclusion from
the new USATF/IMG televised track series (BOSTON HERALD, 11/27).
Despite Clark's complaint and other challenges, Cassell is
expected to recieve a three-year contract extension at this
week's USATF convention in St. Louis (Mike Fish, ATLANTA
CONSTITUTION, 11/27)....Cowboys Owner JERRY JONES appeared on
NBC's "NFL Live" wearing the team's new "special occasion" jersey
(NBC, 11/24). But acorss the dial on Fox, JIMMY JOHNSON was
saying that jerseys are not entirely new: "Jerry came to me last
year three days before the Super Bowl and said, 'Hey, let's wear
these new jerseys. ... I didn't want to take any chances on a

Owner BRUCE McNALL is expected to plead guilty today in Los
Angeles to charges of conspiracy and fraud (TORONTO STAR, 11/28).
In an SUN interview, McNall said he would accept jail time if
