EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     HAROLD WESTLEY, Jr. has been elected president and CEO of
Spectacor Management Group (SMG).  He had been exec VP and chief
financial officer since May of '93.  SMG is the nation's largest
facility management company (Spectacor)....
National Cycle League founder PETER O'NEILL has been "stripped"
of most of his responsibilities by the NCL Board and replaced by
Portland landowner and attorney JOHN BILLINGTON.  Cycling
Columnist Mark Evangelista writes that O'Neil was met "with a
task that no one wanted -- bringing cycling to the masses with a
gimicky format" (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 10/27)....Sara Lee Corp.,
Champion sports apparel's parent company, has named JUDITH
SPRIESER Senior VP and CFO.  She succeeds MICHAEL MURPHY, who
remains Vice Chair, Chief Administrative Officer and a director.
Former Corporate Development VP STEVEN STANBROOK will take
Sprieser's former position as President and CEO of Sara Lee
Bakery North America (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 10/28).
