EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     The Grizzlies are set to name Warriors exec TODD LEIWEKE as
their new club president.  Leiweke is president of the Warriors'
arena development company.  His brother, Timothy, is president of
the Nuggets (TORONTO STAR, 10/26)....THE SPORTING NEWS named the
Indians Exec VP and GM JOHN HART as Major League Baseball's
"Executive of the Year." Hart finished well ahead of runner up BUD
SELIG (Indians)...
LEE TUNICK was named as national sales manager at Sporting Goods
Dealer in New York.  He was regional sales manager (ADVERTISING
AGE, 10/24 issue).
