FIVE-RING NOTES

     Imprinted Products Corp. of San Diego has announced the
extension of its '96 ACOG license to include pencils, earrings
and key tags.  The company initially received Games licensing for
lapel pins (THE DAILY)....GA Gov. Zell Miller gave the go-ahead
to start buying up an "unsightly quadrant" of downtown Atlanta
and "transform it into a state park" commemorating the '96 Games
(ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 9/29).  The estimated $50M cost for real
estate acquisition, site preparation, design and construction of
the park will come entirely from the private sector (THE
DAILY)....The first Olympic Collectors' World Fair is taking
place in Lausanne, Switzerland on October 7-9.  The fair will
feature stamps, coins, pins and just about any collectible
connected with the Olympics.  The event is being organized by the
International Olympic Philately Federation, International Olympic
Numismatics Federation and the International Olympic Memorabilia
Collectors Association (THE DAILY).
