Kevin Durant Donating $3M To Alma Mater Univ. Of Texas

Warriors F Kevin Durant is donating $3M to the Univ. of Texas to support the school's basketball program and its Center for Sports Leadership & Innovation. This marks the largest outright gift by a former Texas basketball player in UT history and is among the largest gifts ever by a pro athlete to his alma mater. With $2.5M going to the hoops program, the main entrance to Denton Cooley Pavilion will now be named the Kevin Durant Texas Basketball Center. Also, the men's basketball facilities will become the Kevin Durant Basketball Facility for Men (Texas).
