Puerto Rico Open Will Run As Charity Event Following Hurricane Maria

The Puerto Rico Open will "not own" official PGA Tour status in '18, though the event will "still be conducted as a special charity endeavor" following Hurricane Maria. The event will be held in March and feature Tour players, athletes and celebrities. The Tour also "promised the tournament -- which celebrated its 10-year anniversary last season -- will return" in '19 and '20 as an official event (GOLFDIGEST.com, 12/21).
