NHL Net Documentary On First Winter Classic Set To Air Tonight

NHL Network will mark the 10-year anniversary of the inaugural NHL Winter Classic with a documentary looking back at the ’08 matchup between the Penguins and Sabres. Titled “NHL Network Originals: The First NHL Winter Classic, Hockey Goes Outside,” the documentary will be narrated by actor and Pittsburgh native Michael Keaton. It will feature interviews with members of the participating teams, including the Penguins’ Sidney Crosby and Sabres’ Ryan Miller, as well as with NBC broadcasters Mike Emrick and Bob Costas and members of the NHL facilities operations team. The film will air tonight at 8:00pm ET.
