Ryen Russillo Returns To ESPN Radio, Addresses Last Month's Arrest

ESPN’s Ryen Russillo today addressed his arrest in Wyoming last month and subsequent on-air suspension, taking the first few minutes of his ESPN Radio show to apologize. He said, “I went out that night, drank too much and I went to the wrong hotel room. That's how I ended up getting in trouble.” He added, “I understand that this is a big mistake because I'm a public figure and I have my name on a show and I work at a place like ESPN, a place I'm proud to come into work every single day. I’m not saying this because my bosses are listening, but I deserved the suspension. I'm embarrassed you guys, I embarrassed myself” (“The Ryen Russillo Show,” ESPN Radio, 9/5).
