StubHub President Scott Cutler Promoted To eBay Senior VP/Americas

StubHub President Scott Cutler has been promoted by parent company eBay to Senior VP/Americas and will be running the marketplace business for the company. Cutler will also continue to lead StubHub temporarily, but the ticket resale company will ultimately get a new president. StubHub’s day-to-day operations will be led by GM/North America Perkins Miller and CFO Ajay Gopal. It is not yet known whether either Miller or Gopal are candidates for the president job, and there is no set timetable for the search.

Cutler joined StubHub in '15 from the NYSE and oversaw several key company initiatives, including primary ticketing and jersey patch deals with the 76ers, a large-scale reunion with the Yankees after a bitter legal dispute and the opening of a retail location in N.Y. The eBay corporate shifts, which also included two other exec promotions in its marketplace business, were driven by the departure of Senior VP Hal Lawton. Cutler in a tweet earlier today said he was “thrilled to lead eBay Americas and excited about the opportunities ahead.”
