BIG3 games will be "played to 50 points, instead of 60, with halftime coming when the first team reaches 25 points" starting with this weekend's event in Charlotte. BIG3 co-Founder Ice Cube said that it "would help the four games per day move more quickly" (AP, 6/28).

Promoter Eddie Hearn has "revealed that Las Vegas has become the 'frontrunner' to stage Anthony Joshua's proposed rematch with Wladimir Klitschko." Joshua is "waiting for a final decision" from Klitschko about their "planned second fight, which is likely to take place in November" (SKYSPORTS.com, 6/28).

ESPN has signed a multiyear deal with USA Softball to air games from the World Cup of Softball. This year's tournament from July 5-8, the 12th iteration of the event, will be held at USA Softball HOF Stadium in Oklahoma City (Austin Karp, Assistant Managing Editor).
 
The Indiana Univ. Natatorium at IUPUI has announced a 12-year sponsorship agreement with Indianapolis-based insurer OneAmerica Financial Partners for the "west concourse area of the iconic swimming facility." The deal is worth an estimated "low seven-figure sum" (IBJ.com, 6/28).
