The Univ. of Toledo athletic department has agreed to a six-year partnership with Nike beginning July 1. Nike becomes the footwear, apparel, accessory and equipment brand for all 16 of Toledo's varsity sports through '22-23. Previously, Toledo's programs had separate apparel agreements with various brands (Toledo).

The Wizards formally announced they will "add an NBA G League team" beginning in the '18-19 season. The name of the team "has not been announced and the squad will play its games in the Wizards' as-of-yet constructed" facility scheduled to open in '18 (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 6/21).
