Vince Wilfork Cooks, Dances In New Kingsford Charcoal Campaign

Free agent DT Vince Wilfork is "part of a new campaign with Kingsford charcoal" aimed at making "ribs the official food of America." In the ad, Wilfork is dancing, a reference to a viral video of him "dancing as he cooked ribs for Memorial Day three years ago." Wilfork also is depicted in the "denim overalls he made famous during 'Hard Knocks' two years ago" (SPORTS.YAHOO.com, 5/17). Wilfork said of the spot, "We came up with something that was funny, something that was fun. ... They just let me be me. They just basically said, 'Do what you do, you're cooking and we're just going to film you'" (SPORTINGNEWS.com, 5/17).
