NHL Jets Ownership Upgrading MTS Centre In C$12M Project

MTS Centre in Winnipeg will get new lighting, flooring, ceiling and signage as part of renovations scheduled for completion by late fall. NHL Jets ownership group True North Sports & Entertainment announced that starting this week, upgrades will shift from work in the arena bowl to the concourses and the Portage Avenue atrium. Additionally, new food and beverage options will be added. New colors will be added to emulate the team's color palette while incorporating an aviation theme. Ownership is fully funding the project, estimated to cost C$12M (Jets).
