Oakland Mayor Says City Has Development Deal To Keep Raiders

Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf's office this morning said that a "'framework deal' has been reached with a development team who wants to keep the Raiders in Oakland." The "vague announcement" offered "no specifics." A spokesperson for Schaaf's office said that the development group is led by Pro Football HOFer Ronnie Lott. Her office also said that the mayor will be "meeting with representatives from the county and the city council in closed session over the next few days" (NBCBAYAREA.com, 11/22).
