Zest Not Renewing Roush Fenway Racing Sponsorship, Leaving Sport

Roush Fenway Racing sponsor Zest will not renew its sponsorship with the team and is planning to exit the sport, the soap brand told THE DAILY. Zest, which has been with RFR since ’12, was a primary sponsor on Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s No. 17 Ford for six races this past season as well as an associate sponsor the entire season. Zest, which is owned by High Ridge Brands, wrote in a statement that it “enjoyed a successful relationship” with RFR but “will no longer have a Zest racing car.” Zest has no other sports marketing investments.

Other companies that sponsor the No. 17 include anchor partner Fastenal, which renewed with the team earlier this season for multiple years, Fifth Third Bank and Sunny Delight. The announcement comes one day after longtime RFR driver Greg Biffle parted ways with the organization.
