United Airlines Becomes Founding Partner At Warriors' New Arena

The Warriors have signed United Airlines as the first founding partner of the $1B Chase Center set to open in '19 in S.F. Financial terms of the long-term deal were not disclosed, but founding deals are among the top agreements in the arena-development project and are valued at a minimum of seven figures per year. CAA Sports represented the Warriors in the deal. Momentum represented United.

United, a new Warriors sponsor, will get entitlement of one of the two sideline clubs inside the arena. The deal also includes in-arena signage at both the new venue and Oracle Arena. United, which this season becomes the team's official airline, will allow MileagePlus members to redeem their miles for access to premium seats, suite tickets, VIP experiences and Warriors merchandise.

Team execs would not say how many founding deals they are looking to sign. “We are not putting a number on our founding partners,” said Warriors CMO Chip Bowers. “We are focusing on brands with 365-day activation. It’s important that we have partners that activate regionally, nationally and internationally so we can create a bigger audience for Chase Center.”
