UCLA Health Lands Naming Rights To Lakers' New Practice Facility

The Lakers have entered into a long-term partnership with UCLA Health that "includes naming rights to their new practice facility, scheduled to open" in fall '17. The 120,000-square-foot UCLA Health Training Center "will be the home" to both the Lakers and NBA D-League L.A. D-Fenders. Unlike with the Toyota Sports Center, the Lakers "will own their new building rather than lease space, as they do now" from the NHL Kings. UCLA Health will also "serve as the exclusive in-game health provider" (DAILYNEWS.com, 8/31).
