Tickets Nearly Sold Out For '17 PGA Championship In Charlotte

A month after going on sale, some ticket options for next year’s PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte "have already sold out." Tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are "already gone," as well as options that "gave fans access to the entire week of the tournament." Practice round tickets and a limited number of Thursday tickets are "still available." Tournament Dir Jason Mengel said, “The ticket sales have outpaced our expectations." It is the "first major golf championship to be held in Charlotte" (CHARLOTTEOBSERVER.com, 8/30).
