Warriors Switch Flagship Radio Station To KGMZ Starting This Season

The Warriors and Entercom-owned KGMZ-FM have entered into a multiyear agreement to make the station the team's new radio flagship. Expanded Warriors programming includes an additional 60 minutes of coverage to each of the existing 30-minute pre- and postgame programs and heightened in-season daily coverage featuring both Warriors and NBA-themed shows. Radio play-by-play announcer Tim Roye will return for his 22nd season calling games. The Warriors flagship station for each of the last 32 seasons, and for 40 seasons overall since the team moved to the Bay Area in '62, had been KNBR-AM (Entercom).
