Throwback Thursday: Policy Change

We look back 12 years ago today, when Browns President & CEO Carmen Policy announced plans to step down May 1, to be replaced by then-NFL Senior VP/Marketing & Sales John Collins. Policy, who had the year before sold team Owner Randy Lerner his 10% stake in the franchise, said, "It's time for this new, energetic, bright owner of the Cleveland Browns to really wrap his arms around the organization." Lerner sold the Browns to Jimmy Haslam III in '12.
